Keeping sandbass fresh in the freezer without sacrificing taste and texture can be a problem. Here is how I go about vacuum sealing and freezing mine.

Materials Needed

Step 1: Prepare A Large Bowl

Step 2: Add Ice

Step 3: Add 2 Quarts of Water

Step 4: Add 1/2 Cup of Salt

Step 5: Stir to Create a Brine

Step 6: Soak the Filets for 5-10 Minutes

Step 7: Remove and Dry the Filets

Step 8: Wrap Filets in Plastic Wrap

Step 9: Partially Freeze

Step 10: Prep Bags by Rolling Down Edges

Step 11: Vacuum Seal the Bag
